Sprayed this on before a hike and the smoky oud with that soft patchouli underneath actually lasted until dinner. It’s warm without being heavy, which I wasn’t expecting from a scent named after a hummingbird’s migration.
The dry-down is where this really shines—patchouli grounds the oud without letting it get too heavy, and it clings to a jacket for hours. I catch myself sniffing my sleeve during work calls.
I wasn’t expecting that warm olibanum note to come through so clearly, but it turns this into something almost meditative. The patchouli keeps it grounded, and it’s got real staying power on my skin without being loud. A full day later I can still catch faint traces of that oud.
