On Inlé Lake, in the heart of Myanmar, life is lived on the water. The view is unobstructed, sounds ricochet between the water and the sky, and come nightfall, the taste of silence is a rare, almost unknown delicacy. This is an eau de parfum that prolongs the dream of drifting on fragrant waters made of notes of Jasmine, Mate and Osmanthus.
The opening hit me like a breath of cool lake air—watery, quiet, with just enough green to keep it interesting. It doesn't shout, but it lingers on the skin for a solid six hours, and that "taste of silence" vibe is exactly what I get every time I catch a whiff.
I've worn this every evening since it arrived and the way it shifts from that watery green opening to something softer and almost salty by midnight is uncanny. It genuinely smells like standing on a still lake at dusk, if that makes any sense.
The silence note really does come through—it smells calm and watery, not loud or sweet. I just wish it lasted a bit longer on my skin, but for that price it’s a lovely escape.
